    NS Newport, RI - Gate Hours, Map and Status

    There are four access points at NS Newport. The Main Gate 1 is open 24 hours and located on the North side of the base, closer to Middletown. Gate 2 is open to Inbound morning traffic only, M-F: 0630-0830. The Naval Health Clinic New England Gate 7 is open M-F: 0600-1800 and weekends: 0600-1200. Gate 17, also known as the North Gate, is open M-F, 0600-1800.
